Turn a day’s voice notes into an inbox you can scan at a desk

A stack of voice notes is easy to ignore and hard to search. They arrive while you are walking. They pile up. By evening you have forty messages and no list.

Cards, not another player

Voice-note inbox accepts one note or several short audio files from your phone, including OGG or OPUS. It turns them into dated cards: asks, names, money, and times that were spoken, each with a playable snippet.

Record when your hands are full, then empty the pile the same day. The inbox is the emptying step, not a second messenger.

Work the cards in order

Scan for money and dates first. Then names you must spell right. Then asks that need a reply. Play the snippet only when the card is ambiguous. Copy what you will act on into your own list before you close the job — the snippets do not stay forever.

Very short notes and windy sidewalks transcribe poorly. Keep the originals on the phone until the cards look right. This is not a backup of WhatsApp.
