Upload one recording. Extra words are optional.
A recording can be useful except for a handful of words. A classroom clip names a student. A podcast take has one line you will not put on a public page. This tool leaves the minutes in place and silences the words you cannot keep. A built-in list covers common English swears (for example fuck, shit, damn, and similar). Anything you type is added to that list. Matching is a case-insensitive substring: “Sam” will also mute “Samantha” if that text appears. Multi-word phrases work if the whole phrase appears in one transcript cue, such as a full name on one line. Video still shows the mouth moving; only the audio in that range is zeroed. We do not invent people to hide, and we do not beep.

A lesson is worth sharing, but a student’s first name is spoken twice. Upload the video and type that name (and any nickname) on its own lines. Those cues are muted. Parents get the lesson length unchanged; the name is silent. If the transcript spelled the name differently, that mention will still be heard — add the spelling you see.
