Turn a Support Call into a Help Article

Turn a support call into a help article when the same fix is explained on calls and never written down. Upload the recording. You get a draft title and article, a short canned reply, and source lines with times. You edit and publish in your own help center. We do not publish it. Steps that were not spoken should not appear; still strip names, emails, and account details before anyone else sees the draft.

Useful for Support and success teams

  1. 1The call is transcribed.
  2. 2A title, article, and canned reply are drafted only from that transcript.
  3. 3Quoted source lines must match real cues and times or they are dropped.

Or use the general upload for a transcript, summary, chapters, and chat. All tools.

Run this tool

Upload one support call. We draft a help article from what was said.

What this tool does

The next agent hears the story again. This page drafts from the transcript: an article body, an optional reply, and quotes that must match real lines. It is not a live knowledge-base connector. It is not a promise the UI still looks like that. A confused call makes a confused draft. Internal steps for staff who do the work belong on the SOP tool. Feature requests hiding in the call belong on the ticket tool.

How it works

  1. 1The call is transcribed.
  2. 2A title, article, and canned reply are drafted only from that transcript.
  3. 3Quoted source lines must match real cues and times or they are dropped.
  4. 4You receive documents you can copy, plus those source rows.
  5. 5You remove personal data, check the product, then publish elsewhere.

Who it is for

Support and success teams who explain the same fix and never write it down.

What you can use it for

Password-reset call that worked

Upload the successful call. The draft should follow the steps the agent actually said. Before publishing, delete the customer’s email, any ticket ID, and side chat. Then check the product still matches.

Billing explanation you keep repeating

Upload a clear billing call. Copy the article structure. Remove account numbers. If the call never reached a resolution, the draft will be weak or empty — pick a better recording.

New-agent onboarding

Give a draft plus source times instead of another shadow hour. The new agent should still listen to a clip before they send the canned reply.

Example: draft from a reset call

A lead uploads a 7-minute password-reset call. Illustrative documents — edit before customers see them. The customer’s address is the kind of line you delete:

Title: Reset your password from the login page

Article (draft):
1. Open the login page.
2. Choose Forgot password.
3. Enter the email on the account.
4. Open the reset link and set a new password.

Canned reply:
Hi — use Forgot password on the login page, then the email link. Reply if the link expires.

Source 02:11 “Click Forgot password under the sign-in button.”
Strip: 00:40 “My email is sam@example.com” ← do not publish

What you get

A draft title and article, an optional canned reply, and grounded source lines with times. Nothing is published for you.

  • Draft article from the call
  • Optional canned reply
  • Source quotes with timestamps
  • You publish — we do not

Supported files

MP4, MOV, or WEBM video, or MP3, M4A, or WAV audio. Upload from your device. We do not fetch files from other sites.

Limits to know

Draft quality follows the call and the transcript. Ungrounded steps are dropped, but you must still review. We do not connect to your help center. We do not guarantee the product still works that way. Sensitive details can appear in the draft if they were spoken — remove them.

Tips for better results

  • Pick a call where the fix worked. Confusion in, confusion out.
  • Delete names, emails, phones, and account numbers before the draft leaves your desk.
  • Numbered internal SOP from a walkthrough is a different tool.

Questions

Can I turn a support call into a help article?

Yes. You get a draft article, an optional reply, and source times. You edit and publish.

Do you publish the article for me?

No. The draft stays on your results. Publishing is your step.

What should I remove before publishing?

Names, emails, phone numbers, ticket IDs, addresses, and any account or payment detail that was spoken.

Are the steps guaranteed to still work?

No. They are what was said on that call. Check the product.

Will customers see the recording?

Not through this tool. You get text. The media file is processed and then removed like other uploads.

How is this different from an SOP?

A help article is for the person with the problem. An SOP is numbered steps for the person doing the work.

What if the call never reached a fix?

The draft may be empty or unusable. Upload a call that actually resolved the issue.
