Map which interview questions were actually answered
29 July 2026

You had five questions. Did the recording actually answer them? After a candidate interview, an oral exam, an AMA, or a research hour, memory fills the gaps.
Answered, partial, or missing
Question coverage map takes the questions and the file. It marks each one answered, partial, or missing, with the time of the best attempt. You can jump to that moment or download the clip.
Example: after a candidate interview you see that compensation was never discussed.
Write questions the way you asked them
Paste the list you actually used, not a polished rubric. If you asked “What did you ship last quarter?” do not paste “impact measurement framework.” The map matches speech to your wording.
For research interviews, this is how you notice a skipped theme before you write the piece. Add the follow-up you invented in the room if you want that theme on the map.
Hiring rooms
A missing question is a process fact, not a verdict on the candidate. Do not treat a “partial” as a score. Play the clip. People answer sideways.
If you are practicing your own answers, Rehearsal scorecard is the page for you as the speaker. If you are teaching from a class file, Quiz from this recording writes questions from the file itself.
Limitations
Follow-up questions you invented in the room will not appear unless you add them. Two people talking over the answer can make a full answer look partial. This is not an ATS and not a claim about interview quality.
